Sponsorships

If you would like to sponsor a specific team or CYBA in general, please fill out the sponsorship form.

Team Sponsorship

CYBA operates on an annual "pay as you go" basis. Sponsors are needed for each team. We recognize the difficulty in finding a sponsor, and that it is not practical to try to turn our volunteer coaches into professional fund raisers. Therefor each team must obtain a sponsor who will make a tax deductible contribution of $150.00 ($150.00 for a travel team). If a team cannot obtain a sponsor, then the parents of the team are obliged to become the sponsor.

CYBA Sponsorship

We have not been very aggressive in the past in seeking corporate sponsorship for CYBA, because there has not been a need. However, due to rising costs, the need has now arisen. Several local businesses are beginning to participate. There are many corporations in our area and it will take a lot of effort to reach all of them, but there are hundreds of you parents that work for these corporations. Here is how you can help.

1. Provide CYBA with a point of contact in your company that we can call.
2. Talk to your company point of contact about making a donation to CYBA.
3. Set up a meeting with the point of contact and CYBA, and attend it.

Number 3 is the most effective. Number 2 is also very good but may be uncomfortable for you. The first option is least effective but still very worthwhile.
